In the early morning hours of October 9, 2016, in McComb, Mississippi, Garland R. Monley, a 38-year-old male, was fatally shot. The incident occurred around 1:15 a.m. at the Community Park Apartments located at 120 Gillis Circle. Monley was sitting in the passenger seat of a vehicle when an assailant approached the driver's side and fired multiple shots into the car.
