Rosita Cage, a 30-year-old resident of Greenwood, Mississippi, tragically lost her life on November 16, 2016, in what authorities have described as a domestic violence incident. The incident occurred early in the morning on Oak Street, where police responded to reports of gunshots. Upon arrival, they found Cage lying on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds. Despite efforts to save her, she was pronounced dead at the scene by Coroner Debra Sanders.
