In Meridian, Mississippi, a tragic incident cut short the life of 15-year-old Max Daniel Robinson on Saturday, December 17, 2016. The young man, a sophomore at Clarkdale High School, was at his home on Mt. Horeb Road with his family and a friend when a shotgun they were handling discharged. The fatal event was determined to be an accidental shooting. Max was the son of a Lauderdale County deputy sheriff, a detail that added another layer of sorrow to the community's loss.
