Jaquarius Harper, a 17-year-old from Horn Lake, Mississippi, tragically lost his life on September 30, 2017. Jaquarius, known affectionately as "Tootie," was a senior at Lake Cormorant High School and a promising football player with a bright future ahead of him. On the morning of his death, Jaquarius was at a house in the Twin Lakes subdivision, where several juveniles were playing with a loaded handgun.
