In the spring of 2015, what should have been a time of celebration for James Watkins Jr. and his fiancée ended in tragedy. Just days before they were to be married, on April 1, 2015, the 68-year-old man was shot and killed in his Horn Lake, Mississippi, home. The circumstances surrounding his death were not immediately clear, but the investigation quickly focused on someone very close to him.
