On a Tuesday night in Gulfport, Mississippi, the life of 30-year-old John Earl Kennedy III was tragically cut short. On December 5, 2017, police responded to a call of a home invasion at Kennedy's residence on Artes Street. Inside, they found him suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

The Harrison County Coroner later confirmed that Kennedy's death was a homicide caused by a gunshot wound to the chest. The incident, which occurred in the Orange Grove area of Gulfport, prompted an immedia ...
