Amelia Neal, 33, a woman from Jackson, Mississippi, was riding in the front passenger seat of a silver Honda CR-V late on October 12 when gunfire tore into the SUV on Cynthia Road near Highway 49. A man was driving, a 6-year-old child sat in the back, and the driver pulled into a nearby Sprint Mart to call for help as the chaos subsided.
