In the small community of Mooreville, Mississippi, the life of Bobby Ray Smith, a 60-year-old man, was cut short on a Tuesday in January of 2018. Smith, a truck driver by trade, was fatally shot at a residence on January 16th. The incident prompted an investigation by the Lee County Sheriff's Department, which quickly led to a person of interest.

Within a day of the shooting, authorities had a suspect in custody. The individual taken in for questioning was identified as Vickie Lynn Smith. ...
