Cortez Houston, a 23-year-old resident of Jackson, Mississippi, tragically lost his life on February 8, 2018. The incident occurred in the Midtown area of Jackson, specifically at the intersection of Blair and Bow Streets. According to reports, Houston was involved in a domestic altercation with his girlfriend, Melsynvia Ward, which escalated to a fatal shooting.
