In the winter of 2021, a burst of violence in Jackson, Mississippi, claimed the life of 35-year-old Brian Christopher Magee. On the evening of January 13th, he was fatally wounded by gunfire in what was reported as one of two separate double shootings that occurred within hours of each other in the city.
