Brandon Cooper, a 29-year-old resident of Lexington, Mississippi, tragically lost his life on February 14, 2018. The incident occurred during an attempted robbery while Cooper and another individual, Grant Genous Jr., were sitting in a parked vehicle. Calvin Gibson Jr., along with his co-defendants Dwrone Brown and Andrakeious Johnson, approached the vehicle with the intent to rob the occupants. During the robbery attempt, Gibson shot and killed Cooper.
