On a mild winter night in Phoenix, Arizona, a life was tragically cut short, leaving behind a family in mourning and a case that continues to baffle investigators. Twenty-two-year-old Alexcia Salsberry, a young woman with her future ahead of her, was shot and killed in the early morning hours of Sunday, February 27, 2011. The incident unfolded in a seemingly ordinary setting, a Discount Tire parking lot located at 5131 West McDowell Road, but the events of that night were anything but.
