A domestic dispute in Clinton, Mississippi on February 16, 2019, tragically escalated into a 12-hour hostage standoff that left five people dead, including 30-year-old Lan Thi My Van. The incident began in the early morning hours when Clinton police responded to a call at a residence on Foxhill Drive. Upon their arrival, officers were met with gunfire from Nam Quang Le, 34, who then barricaded himself inside the home with multiple hostages.
