On February 16, 2019, a tragic incident unfolded in Clinton, Mississippi, resulting in the death of Cho Thi Van, age 65, along with three other individuals. The incident began as a domestic dispute at a residence on Foxhill Drive and escalated into a 12-hour hostage standoff. The suspect, Nam Quang Le, 34, opened fire on responding officers before retreating into the home, where he held multiple hostages^1^.
