A welfare check on Monday, October 13, 2025, led to the discovery of 45-year-old Delilah Harris, a Black female, deceased inside her apartment at the Windsor Village complex on Woodstone Road in Clinton, Mississippi. Responding officers from the Clinton Police Department found her with multiple gunshot wounds. The Hinds County Interim Coroner, Jeramiah Howard, later confirmed that Harris's death was a result of the multiple gunshot wounds she sustained.
