In the summer of 2019, tragedy struck in Jackson, Mississippi, forever altering the life of Earl Lee Clark, a 63-year-old male. On the evening of July 18th, a violent encounter unfolded in the place he should have been safest, his own carport. Gunshots shattered the quiet, and when police responded to the reports of shots fired, they discovered Clark lying in his carport, having sustained fatal injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
