On the morning of May 22, 2023, a violent discovery shattered the early routine on Raymond Road in Jackson, Mississippi. Around 7:00 a.m., authorities were called to the premises of a local Dollar General store where the body of a 62-year-old white male, identified as David Plaisance, was found lying outside the business. The scene was quickly secured by the Jackson Police Department as investigators and the Hinds County Coroner’s Office arrived to examine the area.
