Roland Von Kurnatowski, a prominent real estate developer and former owner of the renowned Tipitina's music club in New Orleans, died on September 1, 2019, at the age of 68. His death occurred on his farm in Carriere, Mississippi, where he was reportedly hunting wild boar. According to the Hancock County Coroner, Von Kurnatowski's death was the result of an accidental gunshot wound.
