In the early morning hours of May 28, 2020, tragedy struck in Jackson, Mississippi, ending the life of 37-year-old Jason Lee Dennis. A male victim, later identified as Dennis, was discovered to have been shot and killed on Stokes Robertson Road. The Jackson Police Department was called to the scene just before 8 a.m. and immediately began an investigation into the fatal shooting.
