Jeffery Taylor

Jeffery "Baby J" Taylor, a 7-year-old Black boy from San Antonio, Texas, tragically died on December 21, 2019. His parents, Jermaine and LaKeisha Chaney, believe that their son's death was a result of relentless bullying at school. Jeffery was the only Black student in his class at Salado Elementary School, and he was subjected to racial slurs such as the "N-word," "Blacky," and "snaggletooth." His classmates also destroyed his shoes and boots, further isolating him.
