In the late hours of a Sunday in May 2020, the community of McComb, Mississippi, was shattered by a violent act that claimed the life of Laquasha B. Martin, a 32-year-old female. When McComb police responded to reports of a shooting on Old Liberty Road, they were guided by a witness to a grim discovery. There, they found Charles Martin, 32, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The tragedy deepened when, in close proximity, officers located the body of Laquasha Martin.
