Shamarkese Smith, a 29-year-old resident of McComb, Mississippi, tragically lost her life on July 16, 2022. According to reports, Smith was the victim of a drive-by shooting that occurred early in the morning around 4:30 a.m. on Delaware Avenue. She was driving her white BMW when another vehicle pulled alongside and opened fire. Smith died at the scene before she could be taken to a hospital.
