In the early morning hours of June 4, 2020, the life of 36-year-old Xanus Robinson, a Black male, was tragically cut short in the parking lot of the Chapel Ridge Apartments on Stanphill Road in Jacksonville, Mississippi. Responding to a call about a shooting shortly after 3:00 a.m., Jacksonville Police officers arrived to find Robinson deceased, having sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
