Walter Jamel Shoto, a 27-year-old resident of Jackson, Mississippi, tragically lost his life on October 17, 2020. According to reports, Shoto was shot and killed while sitting in his vehicle at the corner of Woodbine Street and McDowell Road in southwest Jackson. The incident occurred on a Saturday, and authorities were quick to respond to the scene. Despite their efforts, Shoto succumbed to his injuries, marking the 104th homicide in Jackson for the year 2020.
