In the autumn of 2018, the city of Jackson, Mississippi, was troubled by a series of violent crimes. On the eve of Thanksgiving, another tragedy unfolded that would leave a family grieving and a community searching for answers. Elbert Carson, a 52-year-old man, became the city's 75th homicide victim of the year in a case that, to this day, remains shrouded in mystery.
