In the quiet setting of the Canton Sportsplex parking lot, a grim discovery was made on December 18, 2020. A city worker happened upon the body of 35-year-old Dario Jerome Robinson, a resident of Canton, who had been fatally shot. The ensuing investigation, a collaborative effort between the Madison County Sheriff's Department and the Canton Police Department, would soon unravel the tragic events that led to his untimely death.
