On December 18, 2020, Dario Robinson, a 35-year-old man, was found dead at the Sportsplex Park in Canton, Mississippi. According to Canton Police Chief Otha Brown, Robinson was fatally shot in the back of the head. The police department received a call around 7:30 AM from the parks and recreation department, and upon arriving at the scene around 8:00 AM, investigators determined that Robinson had been dead for approximately three to four hours.
