In the quiet early hours of a Wednesday in Greenville, Mississippi, the life of 20-year-old Dallas Cantrell was tragically cut short. On January 27, 2021, Cantrell was discovered in his vehicle in the 300 block of West Alexander, having sustained a fatal gunshot wound to his upper body. The Greenville Police Department was alerted to the grim scene, and it was clear from the outset that this was no accident; a homicide investigation was immediately launched.
