In the afternoon of July 7, 2021, a verbal dispute in the parking lot of a restaurant on Courthouse Road in Gulfport, Mississippi, tragically escalated, cutting short the life of 26-year-old Raheem Omar Ramsey. As Ramsey was leaving in his vehicle, the argument turned fatal when another individual opened fire with what police described as an 'assault rifle.' Struck multiple times, Ramsey died at the scene inside his vehicle. He was a male and an alumnus of Gulfport High School.
