In the summer of 2021, a trip to pick up his son turned tragic for 36-year-old Nicholas Darnell Pittman. On July 24th, the Black/African American male from Ocean Springs, Mississippi, arrived at a residence on Theriot Avenue to get his 11-year-old child. An argument reportedly broke out between Pittman and the child's mother. The situation escalated when her boyfriend, Christopher Jerome Brown, emerged from the house armed with a gun.
