On September 19, 2021, a tragic incident unfolded at the Olive Tree Hotel on I-55 North Frontage Road in Jackson, Mississippi. Police responded to reports of gunfire early that morning and discovered 33-year-old Josh Casaus deceased from a gunshot wound on the hotel's third floor.
