On September 15, 2024, 29-year-old Marquiez Terrell Scott was fatally shot in Jackson, Mississippi. Officers from the Jackson Police Department responded to reports of a shooting in the 3100 block of Booker Street, where they found Scott suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators believe that after being shot, Scott attempted to flee the scene in his vehicle, which eventually came to rest on Highway 80 in Pearl, Mississippi. The suspect ...Read More
