On a Saturday night in October 2021, the life of 18-year-old Kadarrius NiRell Davis, a male from Jackson, Louisiana, was tragically cut short. The young man was attending a trail ride east of Liberty in Amite County, Mississippi, on October 9th, when violence erupted. In the ensuing chaos, Davis was struck by a single gunshot to the head and died at the scene. Another man, 47-year-old Derrick Elliott of Zachary, Louisiana, was also caught in the gunfire, sustaining wounds to his chest and neck. ...
