In the winter of 2021, a young man's life was cut short in Yazoo County, Mississippi, following a shooting that occurred weeks prior. Cornelius Johnson, a 19-year-old male, succumbed to his injuries on December 29, 2021, after being shot on November 19. The initial incident took place inside a car on Martin Luther King Drive, leaving Johnson and another individual hospitalized.
