On the evening of December 12, 2021, officers from the Gulfport Police Department responded to a report of shots fired at the French Oaks apartment complex located at 1228 43rd Avenue in Gulfport, Mississippi. The call came in around 5:44 p.m., prompting law enforcement to converge on the scene. Upon arrival, authorities discovered a male victim suffering from gunshot wounds inside one of the units.
