On a Tuesday afternoon in Canton, Mississippi, the life of Jamal Porter, a 22-year-old male, was cut tragically short. On December 28, 2021, while sitting in his blue Dodge Charger in the Kingston Place Subdivision, he was ambushed by two gunmen in an SUV. The assailants unleashed a barrage of between 30 and 40 rounds from both a high-powered rifle and a handgun, leaving little chance for survival.
