In the early evening of a chilly Monday, the quiet of Dixon Road in Jackson, Mississippi, was shattered by violence. On February 7, 2022, Victor Caldwell, a 49-year-old male, was found shot to death. The discovery of his body prompted an immediate investigation by the Jackson Police Department, who cordoned off the area and began to piece together the events that led to the fatal shooting.
