Brian Drake, 43, was shot and killed on the evening of September 22, 2025, in the 300 block of Beechcrest Drive in Jackson, Mississippi. Officers were dispatched around 8 p.m. to the neighborhood off Old Canton and Westbrook roads, where they found Drake mortally wounded. Early reports from the scene said the victim had been shot at least once; he was later publicly identified by authorities the following day.
