Brittany Jones, aged 31, tragically lost her life on June 9, 2022, in Meridian, Mississippi. She was one of the victims in a double homicide that also claimed the life of Meridian police officer Kennis Croom. The incident occurred when Officer Croom responded to a domestic disturbance call at a residence on 51st Avenue. Upon arrival, Croom was shot and killed, and Jones was found dead inside the home from gunshot wounds.
