Joseph Arthur "Joe" Parker, aged 72, tragically passed away on August 3, 2022, in West Point, Mississippi. According to reports, the incident occurred on Webber Road in the Abbott community. The Clay County Coroner, Alvin Carter Jr., identified Parker as the deceased victim. The shooting took place in the front yard of a home, where deputies found Parker dead upon arrival. Two other individuals were also wounded in the incident and were airlifted to the hospital.
