In the quiet evening hours of Wednesday, August 3, 2022, a burst of violence shattered the calm on Webber Road in the rural landscape of Clay County, Mississippi. Joseph Arthur 'Joe' Parker, a 72-year-old man, was fatally wounded in a shooting that occurred outside a residence. When law enforcement and emergency services arrived at the scene, they found Parker deceased.
