In the autumn of 2015, the life of 20-year-old Chaderick Strong was tragically cut short in West Point, Mississippi. On the evening of Friday, October 2, 2015, law enforcement responded to a 911 call about a shooting at the Point Place apartments on North Forest Street. Upon arrival, they discovered Strong inside one of the units with a gunshot wound to the head. He was swiftly transported to the North Mississippi Medical Center, but his injury proved fatal, and he was pronounced dead.
