On an autumn evening in Jackson, Mississippi, the life of 25-year-old Aaliyah Parker was tragically cut short. On October 9, 2022, Parker, who was twelve weeks pregnant, was fatally shot in the head at a residence on Cox Street. The devastating incident also claimed the life of her unborn child.
