A 25-year-old male, Chauncey “Cam” Carter, lost his life on the night of Wednesday, December 21, 2022, in his hometown of Waynesboro, Mississippi. A former resident of Quitman and a 2016 graduate of Wayne County High School, Carter was remembered as a standout football player for the War Eagles.
