On a summer night in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the life of Brad Deon Lyles, a 28-year-old Black male, was tragically cut short. On July 14, 2013, while visiting his family, including his twin brother, at the Western Pines apartment complex, Lyles was ambushed and shot in the abdomen. His brother discovered him lying in a doorway after hearing the sound of gunshots. Emergency services were called, and he was rushed to a local hospital, but his injuries proved fatal, and he was pronounced dead in the early ...
