It was January 31, 2015, when a domestic dispute escalated to a fatal encounter within the walls of an apartment. The argument, with his wife Carolyn Harring, turned violent, culminating in Charles being shot in the stomach. He was rushed to St.
John Medical Center, but the single gunshot wound proved to be fatal.
In the aftermath of the shooting, the Tulsa Police Department began their investigation into what they quickly determined to be a homicide. Their focus soon centered on the only other person present during the altercation, his 64-year-old wife, Carolyn. The investigation suggested that the shooting was the unfortunate outcome of a domestic argument that had spiraled out of control.
