Jerome Keith Allen, a 22-year-old resident of Jacksonville, Florida, tragically lost his life on February 6, 2017, in a police-involved shooting. According to reports, Allen was involved in a drug deal with undercover detectives from the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office. During the transaction, which took place in the 1300 block of West Fifth Street, Allen attempted to rob the officers using a replica handgun.
