Anthony Edward Lee Myers, a 29-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on August 5, 2017, in Jacksonville, Florida. The incident occurred around 3 p.m. in the 1000 block of West 17th Street. Police responded to the scene after the gunfire was recorded by ShotSpotter, a gunshot detection system.
