On October 18, 2023, a tragic incident of gun violence occurred in Jacksonville, Florida, claiming the life of Thomas Harris. The circumstances surrounding his death were part of a larger incident that resulted in multiple fatalities.

In the same event, Charles A. Watkins, age 41, also lost his life to gun violence. Both Thomas Harris and Charles A. Watkins were victims of the same shooting incident that took place in Jacksonville on that fateful day.
