According to reports, three men were shot in the area that day, with Wilson being the fatality.
The other two victims were taken to the hospital with injuries. Witnesses described seeing a white Dodge Charger pull into the parking lot of a BP gas station, from which at least three people fired shots using rifles.
Wilson was known for his vibrant personality and was often referred to as the "life of the party." He was born and raised in Jacksonville and was deeply involved in the lives of his nieces, nephews, and cousins. His family and friends have been devastated by his death, remembering him for his positive attitude and his tradition of "Fresh Cut Fridays," where he would get his hair cut every week.
The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is investigating the incident, and as of the current date, there have been no reports of any arrests or suspects identified in connection with Wilson's death.
