On November 16, 2007, Crandall "Jack" Reed, aged 51, was tragically murdered in Jacksonville, Florida, while working as a taxi driver. Reed had pulled his Yellow Cab into the parking lot of the Boy Scouts of America building on Edgewood Avenue at around 3:30 a.m. An unknown vehicle pulled in front of Reed's taxi in what appeared to be an attempt to block him in.
