In the small community of Byars, Oklahoma, a young man's life was cut short in a violent encounter that left more questions than answers. Kyle James Jackson, a 23-year-old White male, was fatally shot on December 3, 2015. Raised in the nearby Purcell/Lexington area, Jackson was a father who enjoyed spending his time outdoors, often going to the lake, four-wheeling, and mudding. He was known to work primarily in construction.
